Irish beef stew

This was similar to my Irish venison stew. This time I used boneless short ribs

Braised baby back ribs

This is definitely my new favorite way for cooking ribs. I braised these in my Dutch oven for about three hours and then they were put on a wire rack under the broiler for a few minutes each side with a healthy glazing of barbecue sauce. They were fall off the bone tender and super delicious

Elk fillets

Served on Himalayan sea salt plate. Had some veggies and tater tots on the side.

Hot dogs

I toasted the buns with some yellow american cheese. Chef sauce and grainy mustard - my first time having bread and butter pickles. Addicted.

Chicken souvlaki salads

Made a whole bunch of these for me and the wife for the week. Really tasty. Got some homemade Greek style salad dressing and taziki sauce and sliced up some pita bread but they’re not in the photos

Naan bread

I bought this bread in the store. It’s not anything as close to fresh made but it’s still pretty damn good. I rubbed it with olive oil and threw on some fresh tomato, red onion and fresh mozzarella. Of course just a little sea salt and crushed red pepper as well. Threw it in the toaster oven for about 15 minutes. It was a terrific lunch

Porterhouse

Got some porterhouse steaks from my favorite butcher shop on Long Island – Main Street Meats in Farmingdale. Sign up for their emails. Get weekly notifications on their sale items. I got these on sale for a great price and they were delicious. I Served them with blackened sweet carrots.
